Great Performances

This week is a tough week to see film because out of the five major films opening this week. 3 of them are very hard drama with one of the has the most powerful ending I have seen in a little while. And this film has one powerful scene will talk about it later.

Well this film I am about to talk about stars one of my favorite actress, for anybody who knows me I don't have to give her name but for people who don't it's Halle Berry
. The film is called Things We Lost In The Fire.

When Audrey Burke (Halle Berry) loses her husband in an act of random violence, she forges an unlikely relationship with Jerry Sunborne (Benicio Del Toro), her husband's best friend from childhood. Jerry is a heroin user; his addiction has destroyed everything that was once important to him. As Audrey discovers that Jerry is the only person who can help her survive her loss, Jerry finds the strength to overcome his own problems.

We you walk into a Halle Berry movie you know you are walking into a good drama with a great performance for everyone who act with her. Well this movie does not disappoints this film was a very powerful film that has a meaning to it.

The story was kind of a little bit different most movies like this use the usually script this one make the script a little bit different and it works it make for a powerful film.
The acting was very good by all the main stars of the film. I thought Benicio and Halle did an outstanding job and work great together.

As much as I like Halle and you all know I do  Halle did not steal the show! Benicio did he has one of the most powerful detox scenes I have seen in films.
And of course Halle Has another powerful scene when she lost her husband. The film did not drag at all and it held my attention from start to finish which is good because these types of films after a while they tend to drag and get a little borining.

Overall Things We Lost In The Fire was a very powerful film and with the others great powerful film coming out this week it stand right up there with them don't miss this great film and maybe a Oscar nomination for Benicio Del Toro.
