Well it now October start of the fall season so in the
next few months you will see a lot of films base on true stories. I like
those types of film the only problem they have to pack in a lot of
information about the subject in a little time frame.
The first one that start the new month is Flash of
Genius and it
Based on the true story of college professor and part-time inventor
Robert Kearns' (Greg Kinnear) long battle with the U.S. automobile
industry, "Flash of Genius" tells the tale of one man whose fight to
receive recognition for his ingenuity would come at a heavy price.
But this determined engineer refused to be silenced, and he took on
the corporate titans in a battle that nobody thought he could win.
Flash of Genius had a very good story about the little
man taking on a giant and not giving up. I like film base on true story
the problems with this film is that it tells the story a little to slow
and it takes away from the great story behind it. In looking up the
history behind this film this was a very big case and took many years to
get the final outcome. The meaning of the film was great of how not to
give up on what you believe in and let no one stand in your way.
The acting was good by all the main players of the
film but I think in some scenes Greg Kinnear could touch up his
character a little and make him believable in his role. Overall the film
could have been a little bit better if it wasn't for the slowness of the
story but it still is watchable check it out today.
