This Movie Will Give You Hope
His is a line from The United States Bill of Rights and Constitution. No
State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or
immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any
person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny
to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws. We
the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union,
establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common
defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to
ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for
the United States of America.
So lets look into this famous document. It does not say if you are black
you don't have any rights but we know what happened to Africa Americans over
the years. It does not say if you are Gay you have no rights as what happen
in the 70's and now it happen all over again in California that same sex
marriages can not happen. My take on this is any man or women have the right
to do what ever they want and who are we to tell them otherwise. We have
people fighting for our freedom overseas to keep us a free country but what
going on in California is an outrage.
Milk charts
the last eight years of Harvey Milk’s life. While living in New York City,
he turns 40. Looking for more purpose, Milk and his lover Scott Smith (James
Franco) relocate to San Francisco, where they found a small business, Castro
Camera, in the heart of a working-class neighborhood. With his beloved
Castro neighborhood and beautiful city empowering him, Milk surprises Scott
and himself by becoming an outspoken agent for change.
Milk was a powerful movie with some great performance by all the players
in the film esp by Sean Pean who has outdone his self again which you expect
great performance by the great actor. The story was very good One of my
favorite films beside Comedy film are film base on true stories because I
like to see how the director tell the story of someone. This film is a film
that all Americans should see to see what it means to be an American and how
we are all equal and no one has the right to take that away from us.
And how one man can make a different and never back down for what you
believe in. The film was a very powerful film and held my attention from
start to finish there was no bad parts in the film and it did not drag at
all. Sometime film that center on someone life tend to drag a little and get
a little boring but this film does not. The acting was outstanding I think
this film should get some Oscar Nominations I hope they do not overlook this
film.
Overall I am going to keep this review short this is a big weekend for
film because of the Thanksgiving weekend there are 4 films that came out and
Milk is the best of the four this is one film you don't want to miss a great
story and a great performance that will give you Hope. Check it out today.
