Movie Review

A Very Raunchy Funny Film With A Good Meaning
A Film Review By Paul Perkins

Well Lately this has been the season with Raunchy comedy film has been coming out. Last week We had Zack and Miri Make a Porno which was very raunchy it almost got a NC-17 rating. This week we have got Role Models but Role Models is not as raunchy as Zack and Miri this film has a lot of language mostly by children.

Role Models is about  two salesmen who trash a company truck on an energy drink-fueled bender. Upon their arrest, the court gives them a choice: do hard time or spend 150 service hours with a mentorship program. After one day with the kids, however, jail doesn't look half bad.

Surrounded by annoying do-gooders, Danny struggles with his every neurotic impulse to guide Augie (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) through the trials of becoming a man. Unfortunately, the guy just dumped by his girlfriend (Elizabeth Banks) has only sarcasm to offer a bashful 16-year-old obsessed with medieval role play.

Meanwhile, charming Wheeler tries to trade in an addiction to partying and women to assist a fifth-grader named Ronnie (Bobb'e J. Thompson) redirect his foul-mouthed ways. It would probably help if Ronnie's new mentor wasn't an overgrown adolescent whose idea of quality time includes keggers in Venice Beach.

Role Models was a very funny film but it had a good meaning behind it after you get thru all the bad language and you get into the heart of the story it makes for a great film. The acting was pretty good which some time is a surprise for comedy film sometimes the acting can be a little bit bad in comedy films. The cast was a good choice for the role. Elizabeth Banks was good in her role as well she is on a role she has been in a ton of film this year. W, Zack and Miri, Meet Dave, Lovely Stills, and the upcoming The Uninvited. Her track record has been great.

The other stars Like Seann William Scott and Paul Rudd was a good choice for the two main part of the film They make you not feel sorry for them for what they did. Christopher Mintz-Plasse was good in his role but I think he was better playing Mcloving in the Superbad role.

The film had the right about of comedy and laughs and it does not boring at all and held my attention from start to finish. The Director did a good job in this film.

Overall Role Models Was a very funny film but it is not for the Kids there is a lot of Foul Language in it but don't let that scary you there is a good meaning to the film check it out today.
