A Very Funny Film With A Big Soul A Film Review By Paul Perkins
We
a good comedy film comes out I am so happy to watch it. Esp
when it has Bernie Mac he is a very funny Adult comic when
you go to see his stand up so or any of his comedy film you
know you are in for a laugh. Well this year we lost a great
comedian Bernie Mac dies in August. So this is the last film
he did before he die.
The film is called Soul Men is
about Jackson and Mac will play two former backup soul
singers who are part of a famed group. They haven't spoken
to each other in 20 years but reluctantly agree to travel
together for a tribute performance in honor of their
recently deceased band leader.
Soul Men was a
very funny film which I kind of new it was going to be funny
I did not think it was going to be as funny as it was. I
laugh so hard my stomach started to hurt. The cast was a
great choice for the roles Bernie Mac and Samuel Jackson
work great together and sing very good together. The music
was outstanding I was dancing in my seat to the music. This
is one soundtrack that you don't want to miss make sure you
pick one up at your local record store.
The other
actors in the film was also great in there roles this film
does also have the late great Isaac Hayes who does a cameo
in the film he die a week after Bernie Mac did. The story of
the film very good and held my attention from start to
finish. The film did not drag at all and it seems that
everyone who see it when I was reviewing it like it as well.
Overall This was a great comedy with a lot of heart and
everyone made this film great hats off to them. My heart
goes out the Mac Family He Will Be Missed.
