A Very Funny and Raunchy Comedy A Film Review By
Paul Perkins
There
comes a time when Film comes out that is a guilty pleasure that liking
the film it make you feel like you just commit the biggest sin. Choke is
that film this was a very funny film but it also very raunchy you think
it was made by the Farrell's brothers. But it was made by the guy who
wrote Fight Club which was a dark dark film one of the best films of
that year.
"Choke" is a black comedy that follows Victor Mancini (Rockwell), a
sex addict who works as a Colonial War re-enactor and runs a con
scheme that involves deliberately choking in restaurants and
attaching himself parasitically to his rescuers, all to fund his
mother's (Huston) care at a private mental hospital.
Choke Was a very funny film that has some what of a
meaning to it but you have to go thru all the other things this film is
trying to tell you the character is all about. The acting was very good
most by Sam Rockwell character you don't feel for what he is going thru
but when him and his mother on the screen you feel for what he is going
thru. The director wrote the book of fight club and that film was a very
strange film and a masterpiece. This writer is a great writer and give
one hell of a interview when I seen this film he was doing some question
and answer to local college kids.
Choke is a very guilty pleasure film that is very
funny and very raunchy overall I am keeping this film review short. If
you are looking for a film that will make you laugh this is your film.
