A Film Review By Paul Perkins

Very Stupid but Very Funny

Comedy Movies are a dime an dozen one of my favorites are comedy movies but they are the hardest type of films to make because what make me laughs may not make you laugh. We this is the new season for films last week we had a bad horror film and good couples film and a ok chick film. This week we need a good comedy film.

This week we have Paul Blart Mall Cop when I first saw this trailer I was like god this look so horrible why are they making this film and it smart to bring it out in January. The fist month of the year is usually the time when Hollywood put out there bad films that laid on the shelf for a while and they figure it will not make that much money. Of course there has been some films that did better because coming out in January.

Paul Blart: Mall Cop", Kevin James stars as the title character, a single, suburban dad, trying to make ends meet as a security officer at a New Jersey mall. Though no one else takes his job seriously, Paul considers himself on the front lines of safety. When a heist shuts down the megaplex, Jersey's most formidable mall cop will have to become a real cop to save the day.

Well after seeing the film the film trailer does make the point of the film being stupid but what it does not show how funny the film was but it the kind of funny you say to your self why do it that way and no that can happen. This film you can not think to much of it or you will hate it this is a goofball comedy that it totally off the deep end but it will make you laugh and have a good time at the theater.

The main reason this film was funny is because of Kevin James he was so funny and stupid all in the same time. I like film that center on some one who is kind of big and he has to save the day. He made the charcter loveable you feel for him his loneliness and how everyone who loves him want him to find his true love and live a happy life.

The supporting case was ok in their role there is no really big name stars in the film beside Kevin James and most of the film centers in the Mall. This film remind me of a Home Alone type of movie but in a mall and with a ton  of armed gunmen's. He does some pranks on the bad guys kind of like how the kid in home alone does. but these pranks were kind of funny and painful. The rest of the supporting cast was ok in their part  This type of film you can expect too much from it just to laugh and walk out of the theater saying that was stupid but very funny so check it out today and see for your self.
