In 1980 there was new type of film that came out that started  the new type of film that will haunt us for the next 30 years it was a slasher film where a mask person kill teenagers and hunt they for all there life. The film that started it all was called Friday the 13th they say Halloween was the first film to started the slasher film crave but Friday the 13 Made you hate to go to summer camp. The film center on a boy who drowned at camp his name was Jason Voorhees.

And he been killing for almost 30 years and has spawn over 11 films and off course he has been killed so many times I lost count. The first film in the long series is called Friday The 13th, This film is a remake of the first one in the film series it about Searching for his missing sister, Clay heads up to the eerie woods of legendary Crystal Lake where he stumbles on the creaky remains of rotting old cabins that lie in wait behind moss-covered trees. And that's not the only thing hiding under the brush. Against the advice of police and cautions from the locals, Clay pursues what few leads he has with the help of a young woman he meets among a group of college kids up for an all-thrills weekend. But they are about to find much more than they bargained for. Little do they know, they've entered the domain of one of the most terrifying specters in American film history - the infamous killer who haunts Crystal Lake armed with a razor-sharp machete...Jason Voorhees.

Well the new thing in Hollywood is to remake classic horror films and other types of film as well. Some of them bad and some of them ok this was an ok film nothing great if it wasn't for the T & A and the killing scenes this film would have be awful. This film is post to be a remake of the first one of the series but for anyone who seen the first one you know who the killer is.

This one  they took the story in a whole different direction they did in 1980. of course this is 2009 and horror film are much bloodier than they did in the 80's and in this new version they do not disappoint  there is a lot of blood and guts so if you get sick from the site of blood then this film is not for you.

The acting of the film was not that great but of course in horror film acting is not the best feature of the film and most of the characters of the film you can not feel for one of main players of the film I was hoping he get killed he was so damn stuck up you could just hit him. There are a ton of cute females in this film and course for the guys there are some nude scenes of them in the film. This film does have some good jump scenes so there is a film to take the girlfriend  to see so she can hold your hand and cover her eyes on your shoulder.

I did like the movie trailer for this film which you can watch the trailer right on this page towards on the right side of the page.  Buy be warned they do give away each of the kill shots of the film and how they die so if you don't want to know don't check it out.

Overall Friday the 13th was an so so remake it could have been a lot better being this was produce from Michael Bay who did the remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and that was a good remake so I was hoping this would have been a much better film.
