A Film Review By Paul Perkins

Even a Priest Can't Saved This Film

Horror Film are a Dime an dozen and they are all the same a great idea that turn into a lame movie because of a lot of key issues. Horror films are one of my favorites types of film next to comedy films and they are the type of film that Hollywood does not give it justic.

Based on a chilling true story, Lionsgate's "The Haunting in Connecticut" charts one family's terrifying, real-life encounter with the dark forces of the supernatural. When the Campbell family moves to upstate Connecticut, they soon learn that their charming Victorian home has a disturbing history: not only was the house a transformed funeral parlor where inconceivable acts occurred, but the owner's clairvoyant son Jonah served as a demonic messenger, providing a gateway for spiritual entities to crossover.

Now unspeakable terror awaits, when Jonah, the boy who communicated with the powerful dark forces of the supernatural, returns to unleash a new kind of horror on the innocent and unsuspecting family.

I am getting tired of PG-13 Horror films Hollywood need to stop making these type of film. The only reason way they do is because pg-13 brings the kids to the film and they know they can make some bank with kids
. Buy god where is Freddy Krueger or the real Jason Voorhees not the 2009 Jason Voorhees when we need them. Back when horror films where good they were great.

When watching a rated R film you know you were in for a horror treat you know you mostly likely will be scared out of your wits.

This film you will NOT be scared out of your wits this film will make you a little mad about coughing up the money you paid to go see this film. The acting was not that good you which is nothing new in horror films usually you don't go to see horror film for the acting.

The horror scenes was also not that good there is a couple of good jump scenes in the film but they are very predictable and you know when they are about to happen.  The movie trailer for this film does give away all the key scenes in the film and it makes the film look better than the film actually was. The only thing good about this film was the idea of the film the story had a lot of potential and could have been a great horror film if the writer and director did a better job at it. I was a little bit disappointed from this film I really thought this was going to be a good horror film. Overall if you have to see this film wait for it to comes out on video.
