A Great Follow up To Da Vinci Code
Every Year there is one film that has a lot of heat behind it and if it has a religion theme then all the big religion people with talk about it they may like it or they my boycott it. Well guess what one of the biggest Religion place in the world actually not boycotting the film they say as quote in wikipedia. The official Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano has called the film ""harmless entertainment", giving it a positive review and acknowledging "The theme is always the same: a sect versus the church, [but] this time, the church is on the side of the good guys. Even the church has to realize this is a film and not get so defenses about the film.

Angels & Demons brings together Tom Hanks playing Robert Langdon teaming with Director Ron Howard. For Robert Langdon he discovers evidence of the resurgence of an ancient secret brotherhood known as the Illuminati - the most powerful underground organization in history - he also faces a deadly threat to the existence of the secret organization's most despised enemy: the Catholic Church. When Langdon learns that the clock is ticking on an unstoppable Illuminati time bomb, he jets to Rome, where he joins forces with Vittoria Vetra, a beautiful and enigmatic Italian scientist. Embarking on a nonstop, action-packed hunt through sealed crypts, dangerous catacombs, deserted cathedrals, and even to the heart of the most secretive vault on earth, Langdon and Vetra will follow a 400-year-old trail of ancient symbols that mark the Vatican's only hope for survival.
When 2006 Sequel came out call The Da Vinci Code which got a lot of heat from the Roman Catholic Church who did not like the film and forbid them to film any scenes of this new film in any of there churches. But even so the Church did not like it. The film became a worldwide box off hit it made $758,239,851 of that $217,536,138 was from the U.S. I like the film film I gave it 3 1/2 stars but I think this film was much better than the first one in the series.
This one is getting a lot of bad reviews but I like it I like the idea of the film and how it had a nation treasure theme to it where he had to find clue to help find the event that is going to rock the Catholic Church. The story held my attention from start to finish and it had me on the edge of my seat I did not want to miss any moments of the film. This film had a lot of action scenes where there are racing thru the street looking for the next clue. This film is also a more graphic than the last film couple of the scenes were a little scary as well.
The only thing I can say bad about the film is that some of the scenes look computer generated and not real but it did not take away from the film and still made the film great.
The acting was pretty good Tom Hanks did a better job in this film then he did in The Da Vinci Code he is a great actor and has done many great films in his career and he can add this to his resume as one of his best films. The rest of the cast was also good in their roles and the film did not drag at all and it was almost 2 and half hour long and it did not feel like it. Overall May has been a great month of film esp for the start of the summer season if the rest of the summer is like May it going to be one hell of a great summer.
