A Film Review By Paul Perkins
This Is What Great Filmmaking Is All About
In any Successful series of film there has to be a beginning all the big films of our lifetime Star Wars, X-men and now Star Trek.
The fate of the galaxy rests in the hands of bitter rivals. One, James T. Kirk (Chris Pine), is a delinquent, thrill-seeking Iowa farm boy. The other, Spock (Zachary Quinto), was raised in a logic-based society that rejects all emotion. As fiery instinct clashes with calm reason, their unlikely but powerful partnership is the only thing capable of leading their crew through unimaginable danger, boldly going where no one has gone before!
Star Trek is my first perfect film of the 2009 movie season and it was one hell of a ride and this is coming from a non star trek fan don't get me wrong I did like the film I just doesn't follow it like the true fans of the world. My thing when I was growing up was Transformers I love it I had all the the toys so was the first film came out couple of years ago I was happy. Now there is another one coming out this summer I can not wait.
Well with X-men Origins last week that started off the summer movie season with a bang so the next film has to do the same to keep the fast past of the season. Well I think Star Trek is that film this was one fun film I enjoyed it from start to finish. This is a film that even if you are not a star trek fan as I am you will still get into the story and will be having a good time at the theater and maybe you will walk out of the theater likening the series a little more than you did before.
The film is directed by J J Abrams who made one of mine best film of last year called Cloverfield. He also made Mission Impossible 3 he is a good director and it shows in his films this film had everything a great film has. A Great story that tells you who each of the characters are and how they became who they are. The acting was top notch and everyone was great in their role and they was the perfect picks for all the main characters of the film.
There was no dull moments or any slow moments in the film and it will held your attention from start to finish the special effects was top notch and it look great to see the enterprise on the big screen again after all the years since the last film came out.
Overall Star Trek is what the summer movie season all about
and this is one film that it worth every penny of the admission price you don't
want to miss this great film. Check it out today
