They Are Back, This Time They Are Pissed

Well this may has been one for the books there has been a tone of great films that came out over the past 3 weeks and they all made money well not stopping the trend the next big blockbuster and I mean blockbuster by all means is now out and it is called Terminator Salvation and it brings the killing machines back to the big screen once again

. In post-apocalyptic 2018, Christian Bale stars as John Connor, the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet's operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.

Well I was kind of looking forward in seeing this film because I did like the other in the series and it has been a icon in the special effects field and some of the great one lines of our time of course I'll Be Back was the big line of the series. So when I heard they was making another one I was a little skeptic because it was some great films.

Then I found out who was going to play John Connor I was ok with it because Christian Bale is a great actor he has made some great films in the past last year it was in one of the biggest film of all time next to Titanic a little film called The Dark Knight (heheh) He bring some of the feel of batman to this role but of course this is more of a action film then The Dark Knight but the story is lacking some.

This is a type of film that you mostly go for the action scenes and the robots and in that department you will not be disappointed but Being a critic and a movie lover I go for the whole picture and on that scale it was lacking a little. The script was a little sloppy and some of the dialoged was a little lame. And some of the scenes remind me of other blockbuster like Robocop, The Matrix and my favorite Transformers. You would think with the following this film has it would have done a little better in the script and keep the film a little bit oringial.

Now for the action scenes they will grab you beat the living daylights out of you and then thrown you away like a rag doll. This film is all action so for the action fan you will get your fix the special effects was great as well being this film is all about the effects and the robots it was cool to see the big robots on the big screen again. Also people is wondering will this movie have a big cameo by one of the big names this film had in the past all I will say is you have to wait to find out I am not going to ruin it for you.

Well I am giving this film 4 stars only because of the action and the special effects I was a little disappointed by it because of the bad script they should have done better on you but lets hope if they make another one they get it right the next time. But for the summer goes check out this film and get ready to be beaten up from the start of the film to the end.
