A Funny Romantic Comedy

Romantic Comedy are a dime a dozen there has been a lot comes out this year and the summer is no exception. With all the big blockbusters coming out over the next couple of months and a lot of them are action films like Transformers, Terminator Salvation so we need a Romantic comedy to balance it out. Well the Romantic comedy is here this week with The Proposal.

When high-powered book editor Margaret (Sandra Bullock) faces deportation to her native Canada, the quick-thinking exec declares that she's actually engaged to her unsuspecting put-upon assistant Andrew (Ryan Reynolds), who she's tormented for years. He agrees to participate in the charade, but with a few conditions of his own. The unlikely couple heads to Alaska to meet his quirky family (Mary Steenburgen, Craig T. Nelson, Betty White) and the always-in-control city girl finds herself in one comedic fish-out-of-water situation after another. With an impromptu wedding in the works and an immigration official on their tails, Margaret and Andrew reluctantly vow to stick to the plan despite the precarious consequences.

The Proposal was pretty funny and kind of predictable you know how the film was going to end. But the laugher kept you getting through the predictable spots. The acting was good Sandra and Ryan had some good chemistry together. Sandra played the evil boos very good you could feel for all her employee and could relate if you have a boss like her.

For the women there is eye candy for you with Ryan Reynolds taking of his clothes and for us guys Sandra takes of her clothes too so there is some skin on skin screen. Overall I am keeping this review short this is a film for the couple to go to together and enjoy it together when I seen this film one husband had to go because his wife drag him to it. When they left the theater they both told me they like the film so check it out today.
