A Film Review By Paul Perkins

The Next Chapter In About To Begin

Well you know it is summer time because each week there is only one film coming out that is a blockbuster. With the excemption to Speed Racer which is not doing to well. First week was Iron Man and it blow away some great numbers at the box office Second week was Speed Racer this week is The Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspin, Next week is Indian Jones 4 and the last week of the month is Sex and the City. So May is a month to remember.

It has been One year after the incredible events of "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," the Kings and Queens of Narnia find themselves back in that faraway wondrous realm, only to discover that more than 1300 years have passed in Narnian time. During their absence, the Golden Age of Narnia has become extinct, Narnia has been conquered by the Telmarines and is now under the control of the evil King Miraz, who rules the land without mercy.

The four children will soon meet an intriguing new character: Narnia's rightful heir to the throne, the young Prince Caspian, who has been forced into hiding as his uncle Miraz plots to kill him in order to place his own newborn son on the throne. With the help of the kindly dwarf, a courageous talking mouse named Reepicheep, a badger named Trufflehunter and a Black Dwarf, Nikabrik, the Narnians, led by the mighty knights Peter and Caspian, embark on a remarkable journey to find Aslan, rescue Narnia from Miraz's tyrannical hold, and restore magic and glory to the land.

Well i remember seeing The Chronicles of Narnia The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe it was a very good film a film that adult and kids can go together and enjoy the film. The films are base on C.S Lewis beloved series of literary classics. I have never read any of the books but I know people who have they tell me they are pretty good. The first film they said is just like the book.

Well the second is now playing at the movie theater and it was pretty good it is not better than the fist film but it very close to it. The story was pretty good very stright forward the only problem is that it was a little bit too long the film is about 140 mins they could have cut out about 25 mins of the film and still told the story.

The acting was pretty good by all the main charcters of the film. The fight screens was outstanding a little intense too intense for younger kids but the teenagers and the adults will like the screens there were very cool. The speical effects was very cool as well and did not take over the movie. Overall The Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspin was a very good film for the family to see over the weekend. Check it out today.
