Stop-Loss
A Film Review By Paul

A Powerful Film With A Strong Messenge
A Contract is a piece of paper that two parites agree on and protected by law. The Problems with contracts is that no body read the fine prints so it very hard to get out of a contracts. The United States Army has a contract that you must sign to join the army.
The fine print is that if there is a war they can keep you from finishing your tour of duty. The problem with this fine print is that even if we are not at war they can lie to say we are so the soldier must go back to battle this tearm is called Stop-Loss and for real life soldiers fighting for our fredom there are 80,000 men and women who has been Stop-Loss which is a disgrace.
My though on this is that i think it so wrong on so many levels. I think if a soldier did what there job and finish there contract the goverment should not make them go back to should ask them if they would. You never know some may and some maynot I think it's so wrong on every level.
For Sgt Brandon King (Ryan Phillippe) fought for American. He Fought for Freedom. He fought for his family. He gave everything and then he came home to begin his life anew. But now they want more. They want him back.
Stop Loss was a very good film and i like the idea of the film and how the director tells the point of the film. The acting was very good by all the main players of the film. This is a film that will make some people mad because of the comments of the film remember even so this film has some true stuff in it. The film is a film and just that. The film did not drag at all and held my attention from start to finsh.
I am big on film that have a meaning to the film and how the director tells his or her point , this dirctor who made Boys Don't Cry made this one she is a great director and really know how to bring her point to the big screen. This film has some grewsome scenes of blood and violence but you expect that in a war film.
Overall Stop-Loss was a great motion picture that tells a good story that all us americans should listed to check it out today.
