Well every once in a while there comes a film that I cannot wait to see? Last year it was Transformers and they blew my mind It made it on my top ten for the year. One day was reviewing a movie and a saw a trailer for a film coming out in 2008 it looks so good on the big screen it was called Vantage Point, So the end of 2007 and already there was a film I could not wait to see in 2008.

Well the day is upon us the film is out and let me tell you to sum it up in one word would be damm! Vantage Point is about Thomas Barnes (Dennis Quaid) and Kent Taylor (Matthew Fox), are two Secret Service agents assigned to protect President Ashton (William Hurt) at a landmark summit on the global war on terror. When President Ashton is shot moments after his arrival in Spain, chaos ensues and disparate lives collide.

In the crowd is Howard Lewis (Forest Whitaker) an American tourist video taping the historic event to show his kids when he returns home. Also there is Rex (Sigourney Weaver) an American TV news producer who is reporting on the conference. It's only as we follow each person's perspective of the same 15 minutes prior to and immediately after the shooting that the terrifying truth behind the assassination attempt is revealed.

Well now after seeing this film I can say that it was worth the wait. This film was great on every level the story was so intense this film will make you hold on to your seat and scream at the screen because of how the movie plays out. But if will get you a little mad but don't be it makes the film a better experience and how the director tells the story is break taking.

There are dull moments in this film this is a film that the 1 hr and 30 min of run times was use up perfectly and did not drag all and the way the film came together and the way the film came to the ending was great and different. The acting was good but this film is kind of hard to single one who was the better actor. Because of the way the film is showed every one plays a different part and each of them was great in their roles.

This is a film that you don't want to give away too much to anyone because it ruins the film let them be amaze as I was. Overall Vantage Point was a great motion picture and it was very much worth the wait.
