There Is No Place Like Home

Well February is a very busy month this year there is a ton of film that is coming out over the next few weeks. We already have a big hit comes out that is playing in only a hand full of theaters and as I write this review made 30 million dollars. It Hanna Montana.

So With that film tying up the box office there has to be smaller films that will try to get your hard earned money. Some will be good some will be bad This week was have a good one which is also a comedy film. The film is Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins

The film centers on Talk-show sensation RJ Stevens left behind his modest Southern upbringing and family name to transform into a self-help guru dispensing his "Team of Me" philosophy to millions of adoring fans. With a reality-TV-star fiancee and money to burn, there's no piece of the Hollywood dream RJ hasn't achieved. After his parents request that he come home for their 50th wedding anniversary, the TV host packs up his 10-year-old son and diva bride-to-be and heads back to Georgia. It's a chance to prove to his family that he's no longer the awkward kid they relentlessly picked on. At least, that's the plan. But when his crazy, lovable family calls him on his big-city attitude and challenges him at every turn, RJ is forced to take a hard look at the man he's become. He may be a superstar in L.A., but he's just one of the guys in Dry Springs.

This film stars Martin Lawrence who is also like Mr. Bean he is the type of actor you either like him or hate him. I think he is a very funny actor he is up there with Classic Eddie Murphy, Cedric The Entertainer (Who is in this Film)  and Richard Pryor he is one funny guy. The film was a pretty good one it is very funny some of the scenes I could not stop laughing.

The Acting was pretty good which is a surprise for this type of film most of the time the acting is usually not that good. But this film there is some big names in it. Like James Earl Jones, Michael Clarke Duncan, Cedric the Entertainer and Martin Lawrence which all was outstanding in their role when you put some of the funniest comedians you know you are in for a laugh riot.

The story did not drag at all and held my attention from start to finish one of the funniest screens in the film is the race between  Martin and Cedric character. Also Monique has some funny scenes in it and of course when she on she steal the show.

Overall I like Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins I thought it was a very funny film one not to be miss check it out today.
